Safety

Is the procedure painful?

Most clients feel only mild discomfort. We use ice or topical numbing and very fine needles/microneedles.

Are there any side effects or risks?

Common effects include temporary redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness. We follow strict aseptic technique and provide clear aftercare to minimize risks such as infection or asymmetry.

Who is not a candidate?

Pregnant or breastfeeding; bleeding disorders or strong blood thinners; active herpes infections; severe reactions to injectables; certain protein allergies (for some neuromodulators). Please consult us for personalized clearance.

How much downtime is there?

Most return to normal activities the same day. Light exercise: 24–48 hours (treatment-dependent). Mild redness/swelling/bruising typically resolves within a week.

Experience & Care

What should I expect during my visit?

Complimentary consultation → review goals/anatomy/medical history → cleanse and optional numbing → treatment → aftercare guidance.

How long do results last?

Tox: 3–4 months · Fillers: 6–12 months · Biofiller (PRP/PRF): 6–9 months · Skin treatments: maintenance every 1–3 months (modality-dependent).

Can I combine treatments?

Yes—common pairings include neuromodulator + filler and PRP + microneedling. We’ll recommend optimal sequencing for your goals.

How do I prepare?

Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior; hold NSAIDs/fish oil/vitamin E ~7 days if appropriate for you; eat a light meal and hydrate; consider arnica. If you have prior filler and are unsure about layering, schedule a consult first.

Post-appointment instructions

Avoid strenuous exercise 24–48 hours (by treatment). Don’t rub/massage treated areas for 3 days. Avoid facials/lasers/deep-tissue massage 14 days; no saunas 10 days. Stay upright 4 hours after neuromodulator. Avoid makeup 24–48 hours. Keep lips moisturized (avoid petroleum-based products). Arnica gel may help bruising.
